Thank you for blessing me

Hug your husband as if its the last time, always be sure that your phone conversations end with I love you, hug and kiss your kids as much and as often as you can. Tell the ones you love just how much they mean to you. Let your friends know just how grateful you are for them and the time you get to spend with them. Let that load of laundry sit and go play candyland for the third time that day with your kids. Call your grandparents or make that long drive out to tell them that you love them.

I say all of this because I have had two close dear friends that have had tragedy hit their lives. One friend who just lost her 36 year old sister. Who leaves a son and husband behind. we saw her at Costco last week shopping. It just goes to show that you truly never know the last time you will have with someone. I am not trying to be a downer. Watching my friends go through what they are is a wake up call. To treasure your husbands, kids, families, because truly that's what matters in life. Not how clean our houses are or any other little trivial thing in our lives.

My other friend's story is truly a miracle and nothing short of it. Through prayers and God this story has an amazing ending. I got a call from a friend that her brother in law had a stroke. He is only 39. They were not sure that he would make it. Her and husband dropped everything and left for San Francisco. She asked everyone to pray.

After hours of waiting we finally heard that he made it through surgery. There is no medical reason he should be alive. He had two tears in his carotid artery. This was a miracle. Our God is good and faithful. To read more about this amazing story check out the blog his wife and brother have created for him. kurtheeley.blogspot.com

I want to take this opportunity to tell all of you that each and everyone of you past and present, thank you, thank you for the blessings that you have brought and continue to bring to my life.

I wanted to share this with all of you because we so often, myself included take life for granted. We all feel that tragedy won't enter our lives. It can so why not like it might.
